Recognition from the cleaning and hygiene sector
For more than a decade, the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards have celebrated established products and new developments serving the cleaning and hygiene industry. The 2022 programme arrived after an exceptionally demanding period for cleaning teams, manufacturers and distributors.
Sterillo Duo’s inclusion placed its combined hand-drying and separate air-treatment format before readers working across the professional cleaning sector.
A product designed around two independent jobs
Sterillo Duo brings high-speed commercial hand drying and a continuously operating air-treatment chamber beneath one cover. The two airflows remain separate: the dryer responds to the user, while room air moves through the treatment chamber by convection whenever the unit is powered.
The format was developed to introduce treatment technology through a familiar washroom fixture, helping facilities teams add a new function without requiring users to learn a different behaviour.
Stephen Levy on the nomination
Handy Dryers managing director Stephen Levy welcomed the nomination and described the preceding period as challenging for the wider industry. He said he was proud of the role Sterillo Duo had begun to establish within the future of washroom provision.
The nomination forms part of Sterillo’s wider history of industry and media attention since the original product launch.
